Pizza Cities: New Haven

Two things you need to know about New Haven. Number one: if you’re in a pizza shop in New Haven, the correct pronunciation for “pizza” is “apizza.” Don’t mess that up. Number two: if you walk into a place serving apizza, and they offer a ‘za sporting clams, you order it. Don’t think twice, just do it—trust us.

Those two cardinal rules in mind, here are the eight spots worth grabbing a pie at after you drop the kids off for their first semester at Yale.
