Outside TV, the guys we get a large dose of our outdoors inspiration from each month, debuted Outside TV Features today—a pretty cool app + streaming service that provides binge-able access to the premier collection of full-length action and adventure sports films. Yes, that means their offering up the best of surf/skate/snow/outdoors movies and documentaries (i.e. JJF’s View from a Blue Moon), which you can stream and watch on the road or when en route to finding a decent wave along the coast next storm swell.
Adding to an already robust line-up of feature films and euphoric stories of the world’s most accomplished athletes, the Outside TV Features debut is celebrated with a blitz of snow-sports films available, like Tight Loose and Wildcats Never Die—which is not a film about the University of Kentucky’s legacy in college basketball, but an equally epic motion picture from the Whistler Mountain snowboarding crew.
As part of the regular monthly addition of films, their selection will continue to grow in the coming weeks with some cool additions: Ruin & Rose (March 25th), Danny Davis: Peace Park (March 31th) and The Fourth Phase, the highly-anticipated film showcasing Travis Rice snowboarding some of the most remote places on the planet (Apr 2nd).
The subscription price is pretty solid for the quality + selection of films—only $4.99/month ($3 less than Netflix and Raya, and $2 less than the total amount of dollar pizza we consume between 2AM and 2:04AM this past Saturday).
Plus, Outside TV Features provides free access to over 4,000 short-form adventure videos, with regular content added on a regular basis, spanning across skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, motocross, biking, climbing, wingsuit, slacklining and many more.
