Today’s report results in you hopefully surfing! The swell has filled in over night and the conditions have cleaned up quite a bit after switching from ESE to a light WNW wind. Ditch has a fun wave coming in around Trailer Park in the chest high range, with some bigger sets rolling in on occasion. The one downside to this swell though is the amount of “punch” behind it. Considering this swell is primarily wind generated, the power of the waves is subpar, quite mushy and slow. I definitely recommend jumping in, as today is setting up to be a beautiful one, with temps in the 70s and sun expected all day. So grab that longboard or fish and get out there! Yesterday saw an upgrade in wave power and shape as the tide dropped, so stay tuned for the afternoon report!
