The Surf Lodge uploaded a pretty rad (and appropriately psychedelic) video edit of The Flaming Lips’ recent show at their venue, which marked the start of the Lodge’s charity concert series. Regardless of whether or not you were in attendance, this one’s worth a healthy view, if not a listen to their live performance of arguably their most recognizable song, “The W.A.N.D.”
The clip beings with Lips’ headman and visionary, Wayne Coyne, speaking vibrantly on how the band has kept things true, alive and unique the last 32 years, as well as the type of experience they aim to supply with each performance. Uh… it’s electric — boogie woogie woogie woogie woogie.
