Hamptons Magazine recently came out with a list of the 8 most iconic music moments in the past 35 years of East End history. We think they may have forgot a few.

So we are going to take the liberty of adding number 9. The Paul Simon show at Deep Hollow Ranch in the 90s’, when about 10,000 ticket holders piled into the ranch for an outdoor rock concert Montauk resident Paul Simon of the duo Simon and Garfunkel.

“When it was over, the first ”Back at the Ranch” concert had raised $270,000 to help prevent the erosion-imperiled Montauk Lighthouse from toppling into the sea,” Mary Cummings of the New York Times said. The second show made the list at number 2.

For the other 9 moments take a look at this Hamptons Magazine link. Our favorite and most recent memory on the list is number 8, check it out!
