Welcome to the 2023 Whalebone Magazine Photography Contest for Photographers…which has ended. It was $6 to enter and a portion of all proceeds are being donated to the non-profit, No Kid Hungry.

There are five categories (listed below), so five chances for you to win the top prize of $6,000—that’s real money folks. Two additional finalists in each category will also win $500, and there’s a little something for honorable mentions, too. Plus winners are published in The Photo Issue of Whalebone Magazine. In addition, Whalebone will be selecting 15 photos from the winners, finalists, and honorable mentions entries to participate in The Print Shop from Whalebone Magazine, available online and in our shop on Bleecker in New York City.

The 2023 Categories

The essence of wetness and like 70% of your body.

Where the road or jungle or tour guide takes you.

We’re all this one, so how do we relate?

The one rule, it does really have to be shot on film. But you can talk about it as much as you want.

Just a little something that might put a smile on anyone’s face.
