James Katsipis calls slipping into the Atlantic with his camera to shoot waves and some friends surfing, “self quarantining Montauk-style.”
The waves cooperated.
“Felt so good to be back swimming with my camera again,” James wrote. “After I got out I was thinking what a blessing it is to be able to do what I do right now. We absolutely can not take days like this for granted especially in times like these.”
James, Erik Schwab, Bart Schwartz, Chris Blotiau, Brian Yazz, Pat Schmidt and Quincy Davis kept their distance and enjoyed the day. As you can see the water was fine.
