Holy baby-kissing pope…are we for reals about to do this weekend thing again? You know, just once, it’d be lovely to have a string of days with nothing going on. Just ~3 days of unabashedly eating everything IGA offers in the chip/cookie + frozen dessert isles, watching an unhealthy amount of subscription television (not limited to Netflix, what up HBO GO!), and not having a single cognitive being around to judge you for any of it, lest you decide to broadcast the whole shebang via Snapchat. Wouldn’t that be nice?
Instead, this weekend carries Matt Schwartz’s opening reception, Donovan Frankenreiter at the Surf Lodge, DJ Japancakes at Beach House, and a sh*t ton more events that don’t have couches we can unapologetically eat ice cream upon, but still have fun on. We’ll just have to jive and be merry. See you on the dancefloor.
