Sipping on gin from Solé East to Hero Beach Club
This summer has been pretty good out East. We’ve had some movie nights, some awesome friends join us for a golf tournament, and some pretty amazing people come hang with us at the Boneyard. It’s nice to hang around people like that. Tanqueray and their folks are certainly some of the best. Our nice little summer together with them went a little like this:
On likely the nicest day of the year, Tanqueray and 50 of our finest friends descended on Solé East to enjoy some cocktails poolside. The music was going, drinks were flowing, life was good. These canned cocktail things seem to really be taking off. Who would have known? Not a bad way to spend a Thursday evening. With canned cocktails then consumed, we were on our way. Thanks to Solé East again.
Now for the big one. This time we had a little bit bigger of a space. Hero Beach Club. You should check it out if you have the chance. It’s pretty sweet. We propped up our tent in the backyard for the night to put on another fun happy hour/fireside dance-off with Tanqueray. About 200 of our closest friends showed up and slurped down some delicious oysters from Montauk Pearl Oysters. Brion Isaacs on the boards. Temperatures in the 70s. Music from the 70s. Couldn’t ask for much more than that. Note to self: pack more cans of Tanqueray. We were pulling them off the display at the end of the night.
People couldn’t get enough. Not a bad problem to have though. Till next time Montauk.
Love, Whalebone, and Tanqueray.
