You would think that if Goldberg’s were to go down, it’d be from a drunk teen driving through the walls, ravaged by hunger trying to get 3 a.m bagels. Yes, 3 a.m. bagels are a thing.
Add about 70 years, take away the drinking, leave the hunger and you have 87-year-old Anthony Rispoli, who was the first attempt to take down the famous bagel shop – and just to be clear, it was an accident.

Rispoli accidentally pressed the gas instead of the brakes while trying to park his car outside of Golbergs off Pantigo Place in Amagansett, NY. I’m sure we’ve all done this before (cough*drivers test*cough).
