There are definitely a few coming in out there, but confused is the adjective of choice this morning. Waves are in the chest to head high range and coming in consistently. Conditions though are a little all over the place due to morning sickness after the crumby weather early this morning. The wind has just picked up out of the SW so things aren’t looking to get too much cleaner. In response to that, as an east coast surfer, I would say “welcome to NY, suck it up and get out there it’s head high!” But at the same time, if you have stuff to do you won’t be missing much if you don’t paddle out. Waves should be sticking around throughout the week so get ready for some surf and have fun out there if you decide to charge it today.
