Skrillex was still called Sonny Moore, water was $5 (but Monster Energy was free), Wet & Wild eyeliner ran down your face, MAN OR WOMAN. You didn’t wear sunscreen, but you were covered in mud to keep the flies away, you know, like an elephant. This lawless land is The Vans Warped Tour and this year is the last one ever. A place where emo and ska kids could come together (not you scene kids, we don’t recognize you) and separate into the different areas where their favorite bands were playing. My feelings about this are very strong and I don’t have a xanga to write about it in.
