Lake Atlantic || 5/21/15 – Ditch – 8:15 a.m.

May 21, 2015 @ 08:15 AM

We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but surfing looks like it might be out of the question today. Unless you have a hefty longboard or are taking a surf lesson at some point today, the flatness in the ocean will not be appealing to you this morning. Waves are in the ankle to shin high range. Conditions are perfect with a light wind out of the N, but that doesn’t mean much if there are no waves to go along with it. It seems as though it will be a beautiful day though, so if you can get some time to go outside or can get to the beach for a little, I’d say go for it! In the mean time, don’t bank on the wave height increasing this afternoon. It looks like it will be flat for a couple of days. You never know though, so stay tuned and check back with us daily for the ditch report!
