What if every time you got hungry or were in the mood for some specific kind of food, there was a map to tell you where to go and why? Well we stumbled across such a thing, and we thought it was pretty “BAD-ASS,” so we wanted to share it with you.
Every month NY Eater posts it’s interactive map of the Five Boroughs which features a list of the 38 restaurants throughout NYC that are the go-to for that month. With restaurants opening up, closing down, switching owners, locations and menus as frequently as they do in the “Big Apple,” it’s hard to keep up with where to go! The Eater 38 as they call it, is always up-to-date with the latest changes and best places to hit on a quarterly basis.
Your answer and ours to any question that begins, “Can you recommend a restaurant?” This highly elite group covers the entire city, spans myriad cuisines, and collectively satisfies all of your restaurant needs, save for those occasions when you absolutely must spend half a paycheck. Every quarter, we add pertinent restaurants that were omitted, have newly become eligible (restaurants must be open at least six months), or have stepped up their game.– NY.Eater.com
