In this city, adventure is really relative. You don’t exactly need carabiners and an ice ax to make a left turn off Canal onto Wooster in a U-Haul with all of your possessions rattling in the back—well, most of the time you don’t—but anyone who has attempted that little maneuver will tell you it is a task worthy of Shackelton nonetheless.

What you will need for our suggestions here are warm things, nice boots and maybe a duffle bag. We took our inspiration from some local icons and got together with our friends at Huckberry, who have opened a pop-up at 383 Bleeker St. in the West Village, to get you properly outfitted.
