In order to properly celebrate the release of our Dive Bar Issue, presented by Seagram’s 7, we got the crazy idea to open our own spot in NYC for two weeks to coincide with its release. “The Boneyard,” the aforementioned pop-up dive bar, is now open in New York City. This friendly little joint is open daily 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. at 25 Ave B New York, NY 10009 until October 6 and comes complete with a Terminator 2 pinball machine, old school photo booth, $3 Seagram’s 7, custom dive bar beer from Montauk Brew Co., some of the better bartenders you’ll meet, and the new Whalebone Radio playing at an acceptable level.
