The beauty of picturesque Montauk and our hardworking local community has always been the first and foremost inspiration behind the brand. The town itself may change, but the landscape will remain the same. The people will come and go, as they always have, but there is a core that never leaves. We like to follow those footsteps and portray the hardworking, hands on, do-it-yourself lifestyle that is still found all over this town.
We started hand screening tees out of our repurposed ice house on Fort Pond Bay in 2010, and we proudly say we still produce every shirt here in Montauk. Whalebone Creative has come a long way since that first shirt, and we couldn’t have done it without the support and inspiration from this magical end of Long Island that we are very lucky to call home.
