Kicking off this week’s agenda with one name, three words: Gary. Clark. Jr. He’s closing out Summer ’16 with (what will be) a godly, soul-felt performance at Surf Lodge on Saturday, and you’re going, we’re going, your parents are going, some of your parents’ parents might be going (hey, it’s happened before) — everyone with working ears and a functioning liver should be in attendance.
We’ve also got the Electric Zoo music festival on Randall’s Island with a gang of turntable titans (Bassnectar + Tiesto) and 2016 faces (The Chainsmokers) from the EDM scene. Not certain that there’s enough glow paint in the world for that event, but I’m sure we’ll proven wrong. Last but not most definitely not least, Yeezy and Queen B are performing individually in NYC on Tues and Wednesday next week. See. You. On. The. Dancefloor.
