For more than 30 years, Bill Meier took the merciless city streets on a fixie and made sure that any good entrusted in him was delivered to its proper destination, safely and on-time. His years as a bike courier involved everything from transporting millions in checks and bonds between financial institutions, to delivering pizza for Williamsburg’s Best Pizza—which he did with an unrivaled spirit toward the end of his life.
